Conversation In Basement Flat

‘Weather’s vile’

‘Sure. You be like that’

‘What do you mean? It’s raining every kind of hell’

‘You sun-worshipper’

‘Don’t call me that’

‘It’s getting darker’

‘I can see that’

‘When do you want to do it?’

‘When do you want to stop talking and give me a moment to think?’

‘Okay. The moment is coming. Are you ready?’

‘No. I don’t think I’ll ever be ready’

‘Well, it’s too late for that kind of talk.’

‘I know.’

‘I’ll make it quick.’

‘Thanks. Thanks, mate.’

About dcduell

Failed musician. Trying to write for TV. Never sure quite where I'm headed. Serial un-funnyman. I used to do a lot of writing. Sometimes I still do. So I decided to put it on the internet. I'm on Facebook and Twitter. Pretty active on the former, not so much on the latter. Holler at me.
